Game Report: Blues 4, Golden Knights 1

Everybody who goes to Las Vegas wants to leave as a winnr and the Blues did just that on Friday night.

Ryan O’Reilly scored a pair of goals, his ninth and 10th of the season, to lead the Blues to the win that allowed them to rebound from a shutout loss in Chicago. In his 16 games this season, O’Reilly has scored 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) and has scored at least one point in 11 of his last 12 games.

O’Reilly’s goal in the first period tied the game 1-1 and he scored again to ignite a three-goal second period that also included goals from Brayden Schenn and Oskar Sundqvist. Schenn was back in the lineup after being activated from injured reserve.

Jake Allen, the tough-luck loser against the Blackhawks, got the win with a 32-save effort.

Looking ahead: The Blues will wrap up a three-game trip on Saturday night in San Jose.
