Playing his final game in Columbia, Lock ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more to lead the Tigers to a 38-0 romp over Arkansas at rain-soaked Faurot Field.
The win was the fourth in a row for Missouri, which finished the year with an 8-4 record and a 4-4 mark in the SEC. They now await the Dec. 2 bowl announcements, with their most likely destinations appearing to be either the Music City Bowl in Nashville or the Liberty Bowl in Memphis.
Lock ran for both of his touchdowns, on 9 and 3 yard carries, to help Missouri roll up a 28-0 halftime lead. Both of his scoring passes went to senior Emanuel Hall, a 6-yarder in the second quarter and a 67-yard play in the third quarter.
Lock was pulled from the game early after completing 16 of 25 passes for 221 yards. Six of the completions went to Hall, who finished with 153 yards.
Larry Rountree III had 29 carries for 119 yards and surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season.
Missouri’s defense recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and recorded the Tigers’ first shutout in a conference game since a 14-0 win over Iowa State in 2010 when they were still in the Big 12.
