Game Report: Hurricanes 5, Blues 2
After winning 12 games in February, the Blues’ hopes of getting off to another good start in March did not go the way they wanted on Friday night.
A shorthanded goal by Sebastian Aho broke a 2-2 tie midway through the second period and the Hurricane added two goals, one into an empty net, in the period to complete the victory.
The Blues trailed 2-1 going into the second period before tying the game on a goal by Vince Dunn. Oskar Sundqvist scored the first goal for the Blues.
Jake Allen allowed four goals on 23 shots.
Looking ahead: The Blues return home to play the second half of a back-to-back series on Saturday night, hosting the Dallas Stars.
