Scott Politz was drafted by the Cardinals on Wednesday and his Yale coach John Stuper who played for the Cardinals was interviewed by Rob Rains about it.
This interview was done on the phone outside of Busch Stadium just after Politz was drafted and we appreciate John Stuper for doing it.
Among the Cardinals other picks on Wednesday were a few with local connections. They selected Missouri right-hander Cameron Dulle in the 30th round; right-hander Anthony Greene of Jefferson College in the 33rd round, and catcher Kurtis Byrne of CBC High School in the 38th round.
