Tigers score pair of defensive touchdowns to open SEC play with win over South Carolina; Plus Odom, Bryant post-game

The Missouri Tigers scored two defensive touchdowns on Saturday to key a 34-14 win over South Carolina in their SEC opener in Columbia.

One of the touchdowns came on a fumble recovery in the end zone by Cale Garrett and the second came on a 100-yard interception return by Ronnell Perkins.

Kelly Bryant also passed for two touchdowns as the Tigers improved to 3-1 on the season.

The Missouri defense limited South Carolina to just 16 rushing yards while the Tiger rushed for 194 yards.

Missouri now enters its bye week before they host Troy on Oct. 5 in their last non-conference game.
