Game Report: Blues 4, Kings 1

The Blues are going into the Christmas break on a high note.

They won their sixth game in a row on Monday night, defeating the Kings after scoring four goals in the first period.

Brayden Schenn scored two of the four goals, which came in a 7:30 span. Schenn opened the scoring before Jaden Schwartz and Vince Dunn scores before Schenn capped the flurry. Alex Pietrangelo assisted on two of the goals, which came in the first 12:21 of the game.

The pair of goals for Schenn increased his season total to 17, matching his total from all of last season.

The Blues are 21-1-1 in games in which they have scored three or more goals, including 18 consecutive wins.

Jordan Binnington was back in the net after getting a week off, and allowed only one goal late in the first period. He stopped 29 of 30 shots by the Kings.

The Blues are now off until Friday night, when they will take on the Jets in Winnipeg.
