The St. Louis Cardinals and Cardinals Care are excited to announce the return of the 29th Annual Cardinals Care Winter Warm-Up, coming to Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18, 2026.  Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 28 at 10 a.m. CT at cardinals.com/wwu.

The Winter Warm-Up is the unofficial kickoff to the Cardinals baseball season, giving fans a one-of-a-kind opportunity to celebrate their favorite team while supporting Cardinals Care, the team’s charitable foundation that helps children throughout the St. Louis community.

WWU Highlights

After hosting a three-day Winter Warm-Up for several years, Cardinals Care carefully evaluated fan attendance and feedback to create a more focused and impactful experience.

“Over the past few years, we’ve seen Monday attendance gradually decline,” said Michael Hall, Vice President of Community Relations and Executive Director of Cardinals Care. “After evaluating the event’s schedule and fan feedback, we’re confident that a two-day format allows us to deliver the same great experiences without sacrificing any of the content that makes Winter Warm-Up so special. By concentrating all of our energy into Saturday and Sunday, we can maximize our fundraising impact and continue helping as many kids in our community as possible.”

All proceeds from the Winter Warm-Up benefit Cardinals Care, supporting programs like Redbird RookiesCardinals Nike RBI, youth ballfield renovations, and grants for nonprofit organizations serving kids.  Fans can visit cardinals.com/wwu for the latest information.

The Cardinals also announced the return of the Cardinals Caravan, presented by Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance. The annual traveling roadshow will bring current players, Alumni, and broadcasters to 15 cities across six states throughout Cardinals Nation over a four-day period (January 16-19, 2026). Additional details and player participation will be announced in early January. Fans can get a preview of the full January Caravan schedule at cardinals.com/caravan.
