Update on Roger Dean Stadium Construction February 9, 2026

We are trying to keep you up-t0-date on all the construction at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

These photos were taken on Feb. 9, 2026. As you look at them, you can scroll down and see the earlier posts. This is a work in progress, so as things change, we will update this article.

You can scroll down to see the big difference in this photo. This is the entrance to the parking lot and as you can see there is a new building on the right and updated building on the left.

This is the view from the street. To the left is the entrance to the players’ lot. This shows the new batting tunnel.

In the past, the media has entered through the gate near the parking lot, but this year we have been told the fans trying to go to the back field sto watch practice once it starts will enter through the Marlins’ side. We are not clear yet as to where we will enter. We’ll keep you updated.

This photo shows what we believe the new Team Store. The construction is really coming along and we look forward to actually being inside the stadium for the work-outs very soon. (This part of the article was written Feb. 9, 2026; the first work-out is scheduled for Feb. 12.)

These are the latest images from Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium,  home of the Cardinals for Spring Training. Photos taken Jan. 12, 2026.

The first photo is taken from the player’s parking lot:

This is a photo from the gate to the players parking lot looking towards the old Cardinals clubhouse on the left to the new building which we understand will be the clubhouse. As of now the building on the left will house other things.

PREVIOUS UPDATES:

Construction continues on Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. On July 10, 2025 we gave you an update with photos of how the stadium renovation was going. Today we received updated  photos. The photo at the top shows where they are building a new Team Store. The store had been down to the left of the stadium entrance and now the new one is being built to the right.

In July we posted the story with the updates at that point with an interview with Gary Kendall the Palm Beach manager. To see that story: CLICK HERE

The area outside the entrance to the Cardinals’ major-league locker room was  surrounded by mounds of dirt in  July. As you can see below, it did have three palm trees with a little courtyard and a banner that said St. Louis Cardinals. There was a green canvas covering to the outside entrance of the old Cardinals locker room as you can see on the left side of the first photo below. Then in the July photo, you can still see the green overhang but the palm trees were removed.

The palm trees around the construction area were moved and planted in a different area. As you can see on the Dec. 10th photo they have brought some of the palm trees back. The green overhang is gone and an entire building is being built. It looks like there is a covered walkway between the buildings.

Apparently the building being built on the right in the newest photo will be the new clubhouse.

Inside the stadium, the most noticeable change is that the metal bleachers down the left field line have been removed to make room for a new party deck.

The photo, left shows the bleachers down the left field line as they were in July when they were being torn out.

A photo of the new party deck in left field where the bleachers used to be is shown below.

You can see the new Party Deck in the far left, in the photo above.

This photo shows the Cardinals’s new batting cage next to field number six, this photo was taken from where the fans used to enter. Field One is behind this building. It is in between field One and Six, near the players’ parking lot.

With two months until Spring Training it appears the Roger Dean Complex will have a very different look.
