Masyn Winn got the winning hit in Wednesday’s Cardinals game and apparently on his way home he was involved in a one-car accident.
Here is the statement from the Cardinals, issued through a team spokesman Wednesday night.:
“Following today’s game, Masyn Winn was involved in a single-car accident on Int 64/Hwy 40 due to wet pavement.
Masyn, who was alone in the vehicle, was attended to by local police and Cardinals security and medical staff. He was examined at a nearby hospital and suffered no serious injuries. We are grateful that he is OK, and thank the first responders in our community who helped Masyn tonight.”
