    Fall Festivals and Activities…

    As the summer rolls on and the kids will soon be back in school, our thoughts turn to the cooler days of the fall with festivals. We will list some of the fall festivals we know of,  here and if you know some we should include, please email us at: Rains@stlsportspage.com. This is an on-going article and will be updated often.     They call them the “Dog Day”– those days in August when it is hottest and most humid, and downright unbearable at times. The way to stay cool in St. Louis is head out to an air conditioned facility for some late summer fun. Places we suggest are swimming pools, bowling alleys, and the Aquarium at Union Statioin.

    Clementines Ice Cream Announces Fall Flavors: Special Collection Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe

    New limited-edition pints available in-store and online now- – Clementine’s Ice Cream announces the release of their fall flavors, including a new limited-edition collection inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe. “The Edgar Allan Poe Collection” features four spine-tingling flavors: Midnight Dreary, NevermOrange, Thing of Evil and The Raven.     Festivals In and Around St. Louis

    • Saint Charles Oktoberfest — Sept. 25–27, Frontier Park. This is the 40th year of the festival, with German food and beer, live music, oompah bands and activities along the riverfront and Historic Main Street. Hours listed are Friday 4–11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.–11 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; admission is free.
    • Eureka Days — Sept. 25–27, Eureka. A traditional community festival with carnival rides, parade, vendors, Kid’s Korner and beer garden. Sunday is an all-you-can-ride day. Free admission, with charges for rides, games and food.
    • Tower Grove Pride — Sept. 26–27, Tower Grove Park. A large, free community festival with entertainment, vendors, food and activities. The festival runs 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
    • Folklife Festival at Faust Park — Sept. 26–27, Chesterfield. This one has a particularly nice old-fashioned fall feel. The historic village demonstrates life in the late 1800s, including pottery firing, rope making, candle dipping, corn-husk dolls and cooking demonstrations. It’s 10 a.m.–4 p.m. both days; admission is $5, with children 10 and under free.
    • Macklind Days — Saturday, Sept. 26, South St. Louis. Macklind Avenue closes to traffic for a neighborhood street festival from noon–8 p.m., with food, entertainment and local businesses. Admission is free.
    • Art in the Park — Sunday, Sept. 27, Francis Park. A free outdoor art festival from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., combining artists, music and the atmosphere of Francis Park.
    • AppleFest at Eckert’s — Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26–27. The Belleville location has apple picking, wagon rides, festival food, entertainment and family activities; Millstadt’s Fun Farm is also operating that weekend.
    • Fall Festival at Brookdale Farms — all weekend, Eureka. Corn maze, pumpkin patch, wagon rides and other traditional fall activities. The festival runs through Nov. 8, so Sept. 25–27 is part of its regular season.
    • St. Louis Renaissance Festival — Saturday and Sunday, Wentzville. The Renaissance Festival is underway at Rotary Park, with costumed performers, entertainment, food and the Renaissance village. Its 2026 season runs Sept. 12–Oct. 25.
    • Fall Festival of Arts & Crafts — Sept. 25–27, Washington, Missouri. Downtown Washington hosts 90+ handmade artisans and crafters, making this a good choice if you’re looking for crafts, shopping and a small-town fall atmosphere. Admission is free.

     

    Sept. 26, 27 Faust Park Folklife Festival
    The Folklife Festival returns to Faust Park‘s Historic Village on September 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Experience life in the 1800s as you explore the village and enjoy hands‑on demonstrations, traditional crafts, cooking demos, rope-making, and so much more.

      • Dates & Time: September 26–27, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
      • Location: Faust Park, 15025 Faust Park Drive, Chesterfield, MO
      • Cost: $5 per person (children 10 and under are free)

    Sept. 30-Nov. 1 City Museum Halloween Season at the Museum

Hosted by the inscrutable Doc Terminus, the Odditorium lands somewhere between odd and amazing with acrobats, fire breakthers and some spooky surprises.

    NOT-SO-SPOOKY STORIES–For the little ones or more timid folks of all ages, Not-So-Spooky Storytelling sessions with the City Museum witch will spin slightly terrifying tales on Saturdays and Sundays.

    HAUNTED HARMONY CIRCUS–Circus Harmony, the resident troupe at City Museum, transforms into the Happy Haunted Harmony Circus during the Fright at the Museum celebration.

    CITY NIGHTS COSTUME BALL ON OCTOBER 9–Start off the spooky season by getting dressed up. Whether you lean more formal or more costumed, you’ll be charmed by the enigmatic vampires, fun- loving bats, and some questionable glowing spiders. Live music and entertainment all night.     ROCKY HORROR ON OCTOBER 23 from 7 p.m. -11 p.m. on Rooftop

          Road trip to Memphis? The Redbirds have a holiday event planned

        “The Best Way to Spread Christmas Cheer…” Deck the Diamond Returns to AutoZone Park
        Holiday experience opens Nov. 21; tickets go on sale Aug. 21
        MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The holidays are coming to Memphis in a big way. Deck the Diamond will return to AutoZone Park on Saturday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Jan. 3. Guests will enter the main gates and through the plaza into a reimagined experience that is packed with even more holiday fun.
        Tickets go on sale on Friday, Aug. 21 and, for a limited time only, general admission tickets will be just $12.50. The Launch Sale will end at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23.
        “Seeing isn’t believing. Believing is seeing,” and there will be plenty to see at Deck the Diamond, including a 9,600-square-foot ice skating rink, 2.5 times larger than the rink featured at AutoZone Park in 2023.
        Guests can skate beneath the holiday glow before heading into a walk-through holiday light display throughout the AutoZone Park concourse. Kids can get in on the fun with cookie decorating, ornament making, letters to Santa, inflatables and more. All the elves will shout, “I know him,” as they visit Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
        Buyout Nights, private event rentals and group tickets are available for holiday parties of six to 6,000.
