The gift baskets at St. Charles-based Beef Jerky Experience are picture perfect—and so is one of the owners. Scott and Cory Neer have been running their business and at the same time Scott is the long-time photographer for the St. Louis Ambush.

Over the years Scott Neer and company have supported community endeavors including the police.

“Scott and his wife Cory are big supporters of law enforcement,” said Sherry Opich a friend of the couple and former member of law enforcement herself. “They give first responders a discount on their purchases and are behind the Police K-9 calendar sales.”

It’s no surprise he supports the K-9 units as he is a dog lover– which is why they include the dog baskets.

Neer is an award winning, nationally published St. Louis based sports photographer and he has worked more than 10 years with the Ambush.  He is a big Cardinals fan and sports fan and before getting the gig with the Ambush he was team photographer for the River City Rascals.

If owning a business and being a professional photographer wasn’t enough Neer is a volunteer with the Winfield Foley Fire Protection District. With all that he does on a daily basis, the shop has specific hours, listed below.
