The Cardinals announced on Wednesday that all six of their minor-league managers will return to the same affiliates this season.
Ben Johnson will be in his sixth season at Triple A Memphis; Jose Leger will be managing Double A Springfield for the fourth consecutive year; Patrick Anderson will be in his third year at Class A Peoria and Gary Kendall will be in his third season at Class A Palm Beach, the four full-time farm teams.
This will be the fourth season for Roberto Espinoza at the short-season Florida Complex League and the 14th season for Fray Peniche at the Dominican Summer League team.
New to the minor-league coaching staff will be Paul Benoit, the coach at Springfield, and Elvis Rodriguez, the hitting coach at Peoria.
Russ Steinhorn returns as the minor-league hitting coordinator, with Brock Hammit promoted to the assistant hitting coordinator. Tim Leveque will return as the minor-league pitching coordinator.
