The PBR Unleash The Beast event in St. Louis will be held on Dec. 7-8 at Enterprise Center.
In less than six months, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) will crown the 2025 World Champion, presenting them the covted gold buckle and $1 million bonus. And while that will happen in Texas, all roads to the World Championship will go through St. Louis, Missouri, when the elite Unleash The Beast bucks into town on Dec. 7-8.
Marking one of PBR’s most tenured events, readying for its 27th trip to Gateway to The West, the world’s premier bull riding tour, will take over Enterprise Center for two days of can’t-miss competition as the world’s Top 40 bull riders go head-to-head against the most powerful animal athletes on the planet. Last season, Cassio Dias won the Unleash The Beast event in St. Louis, en route to being crowned both the 2024 PBR World Champion and Rookie of the Year.
Hoping to follow in his footsteps, surging sophomore Cort McFadden will be looking to accomplish big things in the Show Me State as he chases his first PBR World Championship this May.
A bit about McFadden:
- McFadden grew up surrounded by the Western lifestyle, son of four-time PBR World Finals qualifier Cory McFadden. His father left an undeniable stamp on the sport as one of just two riders to cover the renowned Little Yellow Jacket twice.
- After making his debut in 2023, and riding for the regular-season Team Champion Austin Gamblers, McFadden hit his stride this past competition season.
- Courtesy of a win on the Velocity Tour in early January in Denver, Colorado, McFadden made his elite tour debut just a few days later and was a fixture on the premier series for the remainder of the season. Racking up seven Top 10 finishes on the Unleash The Beast, McFadden qualified for his career first World Finals ranked No. 16 in the world.
- In Texas for the 2024 PBR World Finals, McFadden came to be known far and wide. Drawing Dana White’s Twisted Steel, the prized bovine athlete of the UFC President, McFadden made the requisite 8 atop the powerful animal athlete, earning the $50,000 bounty.
- The humble Texan then concluded the calendar year within the PBR Teams league, this time riding for the Oklahoma Wildcatters after being traded in the off season.
- When the 2025 Unleash The Beast season got underway last weekend in Arizona, McFadden went 1-for-2 to finish 25th, cracking the Top 30 in the world.
- Now readying for his St. Louis debut, McFadden is eager to continue his success and gain further ground in the standings.
