LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 2026 

Ivan Herrera's three-run homer in the 10th inning gave the Cardinals a 9-6 walk-off win over te Pirates on Tuesday night at Busch Stadium. It was the fourth homer of the game for the Cardinals and came after they blew a 6-4 lead in the ninth. It was Herrera's first home run since April 25. The other homers came from JJ Wetherholt, Nolan Gorman and Alec Burleson.

Michael McGreevy will get the start tonight in the second game of the three-game series.
