THURSDAY, AUG. 27, 2026 

After falling behind the Orioles 7-0 in the second inning on Wednesday night, the Cardinals rallied to the game with a six-run fifth inning only to give up the go-ahead run in the ninth, losing 8-7 in the game at Busch Stadium.

It was the fifth consecutive loss for the Cardinals, their longest losing streak of the season.

The Cardinals will try to avoid being swept in the three-game series in today's 1:15 p.m. game.
