Several members of the Cardinals organization will be members of international teams during the World Baseball Classic in March, including three who are expected to be on the major-league club this season – Ivan Herrera, Thomas Saggese and Riley O’Brien.
None of the Cardinals representatives will be on the U.S. roster.
Herrera was named to the Panama roster, Saggese will be on the team from Italy and O’Brien on the Korean team.
The tournament will run from March 5-17.
