LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2026

The Mets had just one hit in 14 at-bats with a runner in scoring position but still beat the Cardinals 4-2 on Monday night in the opener of a three-game series at Busch Stadium. All four runs were charged to starter Kyle Leahy. Nolan Gorman homered for one of the Cardinals' runs.

Andre Pallante will make his first start of the season tonight in the second game of the series.
