THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2026

Nathan Church had three hits, drove in a run and scored twice and Alec Burleson drove in two runs with a bases-loaded single to lead the Cardinals to a 5-3 win on Wednesday over the Guardians at Busch Stadium. Dustin May got the win, allowing one run over six innings, while Riley O'Brien earned his fifth save.

The Cardinals will have the day off today before opening a three-game series on Friday night against the Astros in Houston.
