WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10, 2026

Dustin May finally receives some run support from his teammates and pitched the Cardinals to a 7-0 win over the Mets on Tuesday night in New York, their fifth consecutive win. May won for the first time since April 21 after throwing a stretch of seven starts in which the Cardinals scored a combined eight runs while he was in the game.

JJ Wetherholt singled in two runs in a four-run third inning and Alec Burleson hit a two-run homer in the fifth in support of May, who allowed four hits over six innings.

Andre Pallante will get the start tonight in the second game of the series.
