LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2026

The Cardinals were held to just four hits, all singles, in a 1-0 loss to the Nationals today in West Palm Beach. The only run of the game came in the first inning when Dustin May walked the leadoff hitter then gave up a two-out double.

There are just five games left in Florida before the Cardinals will head north. They will host the Astros on Wednesday in Jupiter.
