LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2026

The Twins hit three homers off Ryne Stanek in the span of five batters in the seventh and eighth innings on Friday night to twice wipe out a Cardinals' lead en route to a 9-8 win in the opener of a three-game series in Minneapolis. Jordan Walker's three-run double in the seventh had given the Cardinals a 7-4 lead before the Twins rallied.

Matthew Liberatore will get the start today in the second game of the series.
