LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2026

The Cardinals did not have an answer for Jacob Misiorowski on Monday as he struck out 12, threw 57 pitches at least 1o0 miles per hour and allowed only two single over seven innings in the Brewers' 5-1 win in Milwaukee. Matthew Liberatore gave up three runs in the first inning, including a two-run homer by Christian Yelich.

Brycen Mautz, who had been scheduled to start Sunday in Cincinnati before the game was rained out, made his major-league debut with three innings in relief, allowing two runs.

Michael McGreevy will get the start tonight in the second game of the series.
