The Cardinals traded right-handed reliever Andre Granillo to the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, acquiring another right-handed reliever, George Soriano. Soriano pitched for the Marlins the last three seasons and has been claimed off waivers three times this winter - by Baltimore, Atlanta a d Washington before being traded today.
