SUNDAY, MARCH 8, 2026

Kyle Leahy threw four perfect innings with five strikeouts and Joshua Baez homered again in the Cardinals' 3-2 loss to the Mets on Saturday in Jupiter. Ivan Herrera was scratched from the lineup because of knee inflammation.

The Cardinals trimmed six players from the camp roster, including pitcher Tink Hence, catchers Jimmy Crooks and Leonardo Bernal and outfielder Bryan Torres. Bernal and Torres are away from camp playing in the WBC.

Andre Pallante will get the start today when the Cardinals play the Marlins in Jupiter. The Cardinals will be the visiting team.
