TUESDAY, JUNE 23, 2026 

Riley O'Brien worked  a no-drama ninth inning, retiring all three batters he faced to secure the Cardinals 3-2 win over the Diamondbacks on  Monday night at Busch Stadium. It was the first 1-2-3 ninth inning for O'Brien since May 7, a span of 15 appearances. Andre Pallante allowed one run on six hits to earn the victory.

Kyle Leahy will get the start tonight in the second game of the four-game series.
