The Missouri Tigers got the bounce-back win they needed on Saturday, a 38-7 victory over West Virginia in Columbia.
Kelly Bryant passed for three touchdowns, including two to tight end Albert Okwuegbunami, to lead the Tigers to a 31-0 halftime lead as they evened their record at 1-1 following the season-opening loss last week at Wyoming.
Bryant passed for only 150 yards but the Tigers also got 99 rushing yards and a touchdown from Larry Rountree. Bryant’s touchdown passes to Okwuegbunami were for 26 and 16 yards, and he also passed to Barrett Banister for a three-yard score.
The Tigers also scored on a 20-yard interception return by Nick Bolton, one of his two interceptions on the day.
Missouri will host Southeast Missouri next Saturday.
