
Game Report: Blues 3, Flames 2 (overtime)
The overtime magic for David Perron and the Blues continued on Saturday night in Calgary.
After letting a 2-0 lead slip away in the final 10 minutes of the third period, Perron scored a power-play goal 2:46 into overtime to give the Blues the win over the Flames.
It was the seventh win in a row for the Blues, five of which have come in overtime – three on goals by Perron. The Blues are 9-1 in their last 10 games and won all three games in western Canada on this trip, two in overtime.
The defending Stanley Cup champions improved to 12-3-3 on the season.
The Blues built their lead on goals from Ivan Barbashev and Ryan O’Reilly, who scored on a power-play goal.
Looking ahead: The Blues return home to host the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night at Enterprise Center.
