Game Report: Blues 3, Stars 1
Ryan O’Reilly had the perfect response to the game-tying goal from the Stars against the Blues on Saturday night.
Just 18 seconds after the Stars tied the game late in the third period, O’Reilly’s goal put the Blues back in front and they went on to get the win in Dallas.
Ivan Barbashev, who got the assist on O’Reilly’s goal, added another goal for the Blues with just three seconds left as they finished a 2-0-1 road trip.
Jake Allen had protected the 1-0 lead after Colton Parayko scored late in the first period. Allen stopped 31 of the Stars’ 32 shots.
The Blues will host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night at Enterprise Center.
