Game Report: Oilers 4, Blues 2

Playing on the road has been a tough assignment for the Blues of late, and that proved to be the case again on Friday night in Edmonton.

The Blues rallied to tie the game 2-2 after a poor start against the Oilers but then gave up the go-ahead goal early in the third period and an empty-net goal as they suffered another loss.

The loss dropped the Blues to 1-3-1 in their last five games, with the only win coming in a shootout. They also are just 1-5-1 in their last seven road games.

Two goals in just 17 seconds gave the Oilers the early lead before the Blues got goals from David Perron and Robert Thomas to tie the game.

The Blues will conclude their four-game trip to Canada on Saturday night against the Jets in Winnipeg.
