Home points streak comes to an end for Blues with loss to Winnipeg

The Blues streak of recording at least one point came to an end after 11 consecutive home games on Thursday night.

The Blues had gone 10-0-1 in those 11 games but lost in regulation against the Winnipeg Jets, falling 4-2 at Enterprise Center. It was their first loss in regulation at home since Dec. 7.

The game was tied 2-2 going into the third period before the Jets broke the tie and then added an empty-net goal to complete their second win over the Blues in less than a week. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 35 shots to lead the Jets to the victory.

The Blues goals came from Colton Parayko and Carl Gunnarsson, both in the second period.

The three-game homestand for the Blues will conclude on Saturday night with a game against the Dallas Stars.
