
There is no Cardinals game today but the team is having a light practice.
A bit of good news this morning from Mike Shildt. Miles Mikolas will not have to undergo surgery at this time. Last year he had flexor tendon surgery (in the forearm) and ended up missing the entire season This spring he has been having shoulder pain.
Mikolas had been part of the Cardinals’ rotation until 2020, since signing with the team as a free agent after pitching in Japan prior to the 2018 season.
The Cardinals were concerned about the pain but announced the imaging results were negative.
