MLB pushed back this year’s amateur draft to coincide with the All-Star Week activities, giving the Cardinals and other teams more time to prepare. In the end the Cardinals ended up using 10 of their 21 picks on pitchers, including first round pick Michael McGreevy of UC- Santa Barbara.
