LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2026

The Cardinals hit four home runs, including two by Ivan Herrera, and defeated the Twins 9-6 today in Minneapolis. Blaze Jordan's three-run homer was the first of his career, in his second game, and Jordan Walker hit his 18th of the season, a blast measured at 454 feet. Three of the homers came in the span of five batters in the seventh inning.

Riley O'Brien finally closed out the win, but not before throwing 31 pitches, only 12 of them strikes, in the ninth inning. He walked the bases loaded, and allowed a run, stranding three runners.

Michael McGreevy will get the start on Sunday in the final game of the series and the road trip.
