After months of trade rumors the Cardinals finally agreed to send Brendan Donovan to the Seattle Mariners on Monday night in a three-team trade that also included the Tampa Bay Rays. The Cardinals will receive three minor-league prospects, led by switch-pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje, and two extra competitive balance picks in next summer's amateur draft.
