How does one celebrate All Star Week in St. Louis? Head to a Sports Bar and catch the action on the big screen with a burger and a beer. Luckily, All Star Week coincides with St. Louis Burger Week. A once-a-year celebration that has carnivores salivating to taste creative burgers that are always specialty priced for just eight bucks. Toss in crafted cocktails and brews that are priced to please, and that makes for a grand slam hit for baseball and burger fans.
Burgers featured during the week are the traditional ground beef, lamb, and chicken burgers along with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. There are also a few sites that have taken their burger off the bun. For example, Crispy Edge who has created a cheeseburger potsticker. And for those who enjoy taking Fido out on the town consider Ciao Chow whose burger week special features a Bacon Cheeseburger Cannoli for dogs.
To help find this week’s featured burgers download the St. Louis Burger Week app. It has the complete list of participating restaurants. It also has each location’s specials, hours, and a map to make it easier to find your prefect burger form this year’s participating restaurants. For the Burger Week app CLICK HERE.
The app also provides the ability for participants to earn points for prizes. Check in at 5 participating locations and be eligible for the grand prize drawing featuring swag and $250 in gift cards. Best news for Cards fans, when you download the app for a chance to win Cardinal tickets.
This year 60 restaurants have officially joined burger week roster. T week ends on July 24. Here’s three picks I plan to sample before Burger Weekends: Budweiser Brew House’s ABC Burger dressed our classic cheeseburger topped with garlic butter, with choice of cheese, garlic butter; Yorklore’s Patty Melt grilled on house made ciabatta; Navin’s BBQ’s burger changeup that stacks smoked chuck roast on a brioche burger bun and drapes it with caramelized onions and cheese sauce.
