Cardinals Homestand Highlights: Aug. 2-7, 2022

The Cardinals are back at Busch Stadium for a highly-anticipated six-game homestand beginning with three games against the division rival Chicago Cubs (August 2-4), followed by a three-game Interleague weekend series versus the New York Yankees (August 5-7).  It is the Yankees first visit to St. Louis since May 2014.  Homestand highlights can be found atcardinals.com/homestand.

Tuesday, August 2 — Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs (6:45 PM)

  • Boots at Busch: 93.7 The Bull and the Cardinals welcome back Boots at Busch—a series of home games featuring live country music in a “battle of the bands” format.  Tonight’s battle features Kyle Olsen, Brushville and Eric McKay.  Specially-priced tickets available for $5.  Gate 1 will open at 4:45 for fans with Boot tickets.   • Cardinals Care Auctions: Autographed items from Cardinals players, coaches and alumni can be bid on by fans in the ballpark and at home via cardinals.com/ccauctions.  The items will be on display at Gate 1, Gate 3, and inside the Cardinals Club, UMB Champions Club and Redbird Club. The auction will run today from 9:00 AM—9:00 PM.

  • Flashback Friday & Artifact SpotlightBefore every Friday home game, the Cardinals Museum hosts two presentations in the Sportsman’s Park Theater, one highlighting artifacts in the museum’s collection not currently on display at 4:00 PM and another featuring intimate and candid interviews with former Cardinals alumni and personnel at 4:30 PM.  Today’s interview will be with former Cardinals third baseman Scott Cooper.  To purchase museum tickets, visit cardinals.com/museum.

  • Joe Torre Bobblehead Giveaway: 25,000 fans, ages 16 and older, presented by Equifax.
  • Cardinals Family Grab Bag Fundraiser: Cardinals Family will be selling mystery grab bags to fans for $60 at various locations inside the ballpark and, for the first time, online at cardinals.com/grabbags. Inside each bag is an authenticated autographed baseball from a 2022 Cardinals player/coach and a card revealing the mystery signature. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit St. Louis Area Foodbank, Rung for Women and Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas.
  • Heart & Hustle Award Presentation: Before the game, a Cardinals player will be recognized as the team’s 2022 MLBPAA Heart & Hustle Award recipient.  The esteemed award honors active players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball and best embody the values, spirit and traditions of the game.

BUSCH STADIUM PARKING

Fans can now purchase individual game day parking directly from the Cardinals in the Starr Lot located directly across the street from Gate 2, on the southwest side of Busch Stadium.  Starr Lot parking can be purchased as part of your overall ticket purchase, or separately at cardinals.com/parking.

 

BUSCH STADIUM BOX OFFICE

The Box Office is open on game days from 10AM until 90 minutes after the scheduled game time.  On non-game days, the Box Office is open Monday–Friday from 10AM–5PM.  Fans can inquire about tickets by calling 314-345-9000.

RE-ENTRY & SMOKING GATE

Once guests have entered Busch Stadium, they must proceed to either Gate 1 or Gate 4 to receive a hand stamp if they want to exit and re-enter the stadium.  Guests with a hand stamp and valid event ticket can re-enter the stadium at any gate until 90 minutes after scheduled first pitch.  All guests will have bags inspected and be screened via walk through metal detector upon re-entry.  A designated smoking area is set up at Gate 1 to allow guests access in and out of the stadium if they wish to smoke. The designated smoking area is open from gate opening until the end of the 7th inning.
