A grand slam by Nick Kurtz off Mathew Liberatore in the fifth inning Wednesday night provided all of the runs the Athletics needed in a 6-2 win over the Cardinals in Sacramento. It was the first grand slam Liberatore has allowed in his major-league career.

Michael McGreevy will get the start today in the final game of the series and the road trip.
