Does Springfield Cardinals catcher have a shot at being the catcher of the future? One analyst thinks so

Rob Rains was a guest on the Springfield Cardinals broadcast on Sunday night with former MLB pitcher Scott Bailes and radio and TV legend Ned Reynolds. Bailes sees a lot of hope for the future of Springfield catcher Pedro Pages (pronounced “pah-hays”). He watches him on a continuous basis and sees him through the eyes of a pitcher. He likes the growth he has seen in Pages.

The presence of Ivan Herrera in Memphis has kept Pages at Double A this season, where the 24-year-old has earned rave reviews from scouts for his defense and also has hit 13 homers.
