The 2026 Rainbows for Kids Trivia Night will be Saturday, November 14, and the theme will be “It’s a Family Affair. We’ll have a small silent auction and a few autographed Cardinals live auction items. This is the one fundraiser we put on for Rainbows for Kids a year and it’s very important to raise the necessary funds to continue doing all the fun things with the families of children with cancer in the Greater St. Louis Area.
Kathy Garver is coming into town for the event that will take place at Royale Orleans, 2801 Telegraph Rd., St. Louis Mo. 63123.

Special Guest: TV/Movie Star Kathy Garver
Kathy Garver’s most famous career events include:
- Appearing in The Ten Commandments (1956): As a young child actor, she was personally cast by director Cecil B. DeMille to play a young slave girl named Rachel in the epic film.
- Voicing Firestar in Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (1981–1983): She became a familiar Saturday-morning cartoon voice portraying the mutant superhero Angelica Jones (Firestar).
- Voice Acting and Audiobooks: She voiced characters in other animated series like Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos (as Pepper) and recorded over 80 audiobooks, earning a Grammy nomination for narrating Elvis, Rocky and Me: The Carol Connors Story.
- Writing Books: She authored several books, including her memoir Surviving Cissy: My Family Affair of Life in Hollywood and X-Child Stars: Where Are They Now. [1, 2]
- Current Commercial: She’s on the ClearCaptions commercial– a captioned telephone service designed for people with hearing loss, allowing users to read what a caller is saying live on a display.
