LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2026 

Dustin May worked three scoreless innings in his official Cardinals spring debut on Thursday against the Pirate in Bradenton. He had pitched in a simulated game last week. Quinn Mathews followed May to the mound and struck out seven in 2 2/3 innings. Nolan Gorman hit his second home run of the spring in the 3-2 win.

The Cardinals will stay on Florida's west coast today, playing the Orioles in Sarasota. Michael McGreevy will get the start.
