LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2026

Masyn Winn's bloop single with two outs in the 11th inning gave the Cardinals a 2-1 walk-off win over the Mets on Wednesday at Busch Stadium. The hit scored JJ Wetherholt from third, who had been the automatic runner at second base to begin the inning. Gordon Graceffo got the game to the bottom of the inning tied by getting out of a bases loaded, one-out jam in the top of the 11th.

The win gave the Cardinals a 4-2 record in their first homestand to begin the season.

After a day off today the Cardinals will begin their first road trip on Friday with the first of three games in Detroit.
