LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

SUNDAY, APRIL 26, 2026

Nathan Church hit two homers, took a home run away from the Mariners and added a sacrifice fly - but the Cardinals still lost 11-9 to Seattle on Saturday at Busch Stadium despite hitting five home runs. JoJo Romero and Riley O'Brien allowed a combined four runs in the final two innings as the Cardinals failed to protect a 9-7 lead.

It was the first time the Cardinals lost a game at home when they hit five or more home runs since 1940.

Michael McGreevy will get the start today as the Cardinals try to avoid a three-game series sweep and end their three-game losing streak.
