LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

SUNDAY, JUNE 7, 2026

Lars Nootbaar hit a two-run go-ahead home run in the eighth inning Saturday that sent the Cardinals to a 6-5 win over the Reds at Busch Stadium. It was a pre-planned day off for Nootbaar, who made his season debut on Friday night, but he came off the bench to pinch-hit in the sixth and stayed in the game.  Jordan Walker also homered, his 16th of the season, which matched his career high set in his rookie season in 2023.

Michael McGreevy will get the start today as the Cardinals try to complete a sweep of the three-game series.
