LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2026

Kyle Leahy allowed one run over a career-high six innings and Alec Burleson drove in two runs to lead the Cardinals to a 4-2 win over the Royals on Saturday at Busch Stadium, their second win in as many days. The win improved the Cardinals' record to 27-18, a season-best nine games above .500.

Andre Pallante will get the start today as the Cardinals try to complete a sweep of the three-game series.
