LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

THURSDAY, MAY 21, 2026 

The Cardinals suffered their most lopsided loss of the season on Wednesday night, falling 7-0 to the Pirates at Busch Stadium. They were shut out for the second time in the last three gamaes. Michael McGreevy allowed three runs over five innings before the Pirates blew the game open with four runs in the eighth.

Dustin May will get the start today in the final game of the three-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 12:15 p.m.
