FRIDAY, FEB. 27, 2026

The Cardinals hit four home runs, including a three-run blast by Alec Burleson, in a 9-4 win over the Astros on Thursday in Jupiter. The other homers came from Yohel Pozo, Jimmy Crooks and minor-leaguer Jon Jon Gazdar. Thomas Saggese played six innings in left field but had only one ball hit his way, a double off the wall. Matthew Liberatore allowed one run in three innings.

Quinn Mathews will get the start in today's game against the Mets in Jupiter. Tink Hence is also scheduled to make his second relief appearance.
