Missouri moves to 5-1 on season with win over Ole Miss behind Rountree, Bryant

The combination of Larry Rountree III’s rushing and Kelly Bryant’s passing carried the Missouri Tigers to a 38-27 win over Ole Miss on Saturday in Columbia.

Rountree gained 126 yards on 21 carries and rushed for two touchdowns while Bryant, who left the Tigers’ game early last week because of a knee injury, bounced back by passing for 329 yards and another touchdown.

Missouri had just a 12-7 lead at halftime but scored 23 points in the third quarter as they moved to 5-1 on the season.

Tucker McCann kicked four field goals for the Tigers but also missed two extra point attempts.

The Tigers will play at Vanderbilt next Saturday.
