Saturday’s Game Report: Canadiens 6, Blues 3
A bad third period sent the Blues to their first regulation loss of the season on Saturday night in Montreal.
The game was tied 3-3 going to the final period, but the Canadiens scored two goals against Jordan Binnington before adding an empty-net goal to seal the victory.
The Blues got goals from Brayden Schenn, Sammy Blais and Vince Dunn. Schenn has scored a goal in four consecutive games.
The road trip will wrap up on Monday with a game against the Islanders in New York before the Blues visit the White House on Tuesday in a ceremony honoring the team for winning the Stanley Cup last season.
