Game Report: Golden Knights 5, Blues 4 (overtime)

A three-goal lead wasn’t enough for the Blues to come away with a win on Saturday in Las Vegas.

The Golden Knights wiped out that 3-0 lead by scoring four consecutive goals in the second period to the middle of the third period to take the lead. David Perron’s goal with 7:10 left in regulation tied the game, but the Knights won it in overtime.

The Blues finished their three-game trip with an 0-2-1 record.

The game started well for the Blues, with early goals from Alex Pietrangelo, Jaden Schwartz and Oskar Sundqvist put the Blues in front 3-0 before th Knights began their comeback on goals from former Blues Ryan Reaves and Paul Stastny.

Still the Blues held a 3-2 lead going into the third period but could not stop the Knights from taking the lead. Jake Allen took the loss, stopping 28 of 33 shots.
