Willson Contreras broke his left arm in the Cardinals' loss to the Mets on Tuesday night at Busch Stadium when he was hit by the swinging bat of J.D. Martinez in the second inning. The Cardinals did not speculate on how long he will be out, but it will be a minimum of several weeks.

The Cardinals hit three home runs for the first time this season but could not overcome the Mets scoring six runs in the fifth inning off of Miles Mikolas.

Sonny Gray will try to snap the Cardinals' four-game losing streak when he starts today in the series finale. First pitch is scheduled for 12:15 p.m.
