LEADOFF QUICK HITTERS

FRIDAY, AUG. 28, 2026

Jordan injured his left ankle making the play in the eighth inning and had to be helped off the field. The initial expectation is that he will miss some time.

Quinn Mathews will make his fourth start of the season for the Cardinals and his first at home tonight when the Cardinals begin a weekend series against the Pirates.
